**ICYMI, I’m honored to have been the first feature in

Mady Maio
’s FRIENDS OF CAMBER Series! I’ve got huge respect for this hard working female founder, and when she asks me five questions, I’m gonna answer. I shared a few spots I’ll cross the 405 for (rare!) and one I wish I could Kate-keep forever…

BTW, I’m fully taking credit for

Camber
’s big move over to Substack… Anyway.

Spring hath sprung at Bucatini, Stir Crazy, + Kismet! Cinespia just announced their first 3 showings. Bring on the tulips, snap pea salads, + rhubarb matcha tonics. I’m ready.

Openings, Closures + Moves

  • Azay is temporarily closed due to a fire — hoping for a speedy reopen!

  • Great White opened in Brentwood and did a camo collab with Museum of Peace & Quiet.

  • Doto in Virgil Village is having a moment.

  • New coffee shop, Comet Over Delphi made a big splash in HLP - I credit Brandon. They’re taking a beat, hiring, and planning to reopen again in May.

  • Pink Chinatown icon, Oriel is closing. I always had a dream of taking the gold line from HLP straight to Oriel for a date... Never made it happen. :/

  • Goop Kitchen opened up in Silver Lake — finally, more wrap options.

  • Good Boy Matcha’s Coachella vlog gave me pop-up vendor PTSD. IYKYK

  • Ghengis Cohen, is moving but STILL ON FAIRFAX.
